Its taste – argan oil is regarded as one of the most valuable and best oils in the world. The taste of the oil, which is extracted after lightly roasting the kernels, is similar to that of hazelnuts, it is reddish in color and many chefs throughout the world use argan oil to season their dishes. Argan oil is regarded as an essential addition when cooking gourmet dishes and, for example, it is sufficient to sprinkle a few drops of argan oil as an addition to couscous, in order to receive a rich, wonderful aroma and a nutty scent.


Cosmetic properties – Argan oil has a place of honor in the international cosmetics industry. Argan oil is rich in vitamin E, which nourishes, renews, refreshes and resuscitates the skin and also contains essential fatty acids such as omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9. Today many cosmetics companies throughout the world use the oil’s cosmetic properties to manufacture creams and lotions for facial skin and also products to strengthen and care for the hair and nails. Argan oil is beneficial for dry skin, encourages the renewal of the cells and delays the appearance of wrinkles.


Medical properties – Many medical and health properties are attributed to argan oil. Because of its components, the residents of Morocco have used it for many years to help reduce cholesterol, improve blood circulation and strengthen the body’s immune system. Argan oil is also known in Morocco as a healing material for edema, eczema, skin wounds, burns and chickenpox.
