The process of extracting argan oil in the Oren farm takes place in a number of stages:
The nuts that have fallen from the trees are collected.
The external shell is removed by a special machine.
The shelled nuts are sorted according to size.
The nuts are cracked in a special machine that breaks the hard shell at the correct angle.
The hard shell is separated from the thin kernel inside it.
The thin kernels are transferred to a machine that grinds and presses them so that the oil collects on one side and the squeezed argan seeds are collected on the other side.
The process is very long, and the end of each stage is exciting – we remind you that only 1 liter of oil is extracted from 50 to 60 kg of nuts!
